Have you ever heard of a 30-day challenge?
They’re quite popular online now.
The idea is this: you do a new, positive behavior for 30 days, every day. And because you do it with a group, that motivates you.
I think they’re nice.
As we say in English, better than nothing.
Of course, I’ve got a better idea.
But first, a story…
HOW I BECAME THAT STRANGE PERSON WHO ALWAYS RUNS, EVEN IF IT’S COLD AND RAINY
“And I want you to start running…every day.”
Huh? I wasn’t expecting to hear that.
You see, a few years ago I hired a coach to help me with my teaching business.
I was expecting business advice.
But at the end of our first call, he told me…to run?
I hated running.
As a kid, I was always the first one out of breath.
But I knew on our next call he would ask me about running.
Well, I didn’t want to look lazy…
And I was paying him a lot…
So I started running.
Every day.
ONE YEAR LATER
This is a picture I took on my birthday.
running in Letna Park at dusk
The date was November 24.
Not exactly the season for sunshine and warm breezes in Prague.
In the past, I would have celebrated my birthday with ice cream and beer and being lazy without guilt.
Now I ran — for fun.
I know, weird.
But that’s what happens when you do something every day.
It becomes easier.
You become better.
And then you start to enjoy it.
After I learned this secret, I used it to get better at — and enjoy — writing, meditating and waking up early.
Each one was difficult when I began.
Then I did them every day.
And now, as we say in English, piece of cake.
YOUR CHALLENGE FROM MR. VIG
I want you to do English.
Every day.
With me.
For the next 90 days.
Do you accept?
Yes?

Still need some motivation? Keep reading…
WANT TO GET GOOD AT ENGLISH?
No, I don’t mean pass a test…
Or finish another text book…
Or get another worthless certificate…
I mean, do you want to put English on autopilot?
Chat, negotiate, sell, travel, meet new people, enjoy a movie…
Imagine… whatever you do in your native langauge, you can now do it in English.
THAT’S what it means to be good at English.
If that’s what you want, then you know it’s time for a change.
It’s time to try a new method.
And it’s time to do English every day.
Here’s how I can help…
YOUR 90-DAY ENGLISH CHALLENGE-WILL YOU ACCEPT?
If you agree that daily is magic…
If you agree that better English will give you a richer, more rewarding life…
And if you want the guidance of a coach and the support of friends…
Then I invite you now to join a very special school.
Starting this Saturday, April 17, I will be leading a special group of English students through a 90-day challenge.
(Busy tomorrow? That’s ok. You can watch the recording and tell me your progress through email.)
We’ll use the proven method of Skill Stacking.
We’ll do English every day.
We’ll meet once a week.
I’ll ask you about your progress.
And you’ll say, “Mr. Vig, I’m better this week than I was last week.”
I would like that.
Wouldn’t you?
