Do you do the grocery shopping for your home?
Do you write down what you need to buy?
Of course, you do – onions are important! – and you don’t want to forget.
You should do the same for your English.
Conversations with Native Speakers
This week, we’re talking about how to have a conversation with a native speaker…
AND improve your English at the same time.
Now, on to…
Tip #3 – Use A Notebook
During your conversations with native speakers, you’re going to hear new words.
And you’re going to discover you’re making mistakes.
That’s a great opportunity to expand your vocabulary and fix your errors!
But if you don’t write them down, just like the onion you forgot to buy at Lidl, you’re going to forget.
So bring a notebook to your next conversation and make your English stronger.
Cheers,
Mr. Vig
P.S.
What!?
You didn’t have any conversations with native speakers this week!?
Let’s fix that.
Click here to visit my other website, Teacher Creature, and write to a friendly native speaker who will meet you online for conversation.
Have fun!
Thanks a lot for all these advices. I think they all work strongly with me.
Hi Ryan
I already bridge the gap( nice expression, I use do not forget it) between onion grocery shopping and improving English with a native speaker…Ha, ha
Thank you for your all advises, they are so useful…!!

HI Ryan!
Thanks for the tips! It would be good to use them regularly.
onions, potatoes, tomato, salad, orange, apple, fish and chips, hot dog, salmon, and… beer, wine, americano, gin tonic, and..
This is a good tip. I have a notbook and I also use it.
