“I can’t do ads.”
That was my limiting belief.
You see, when you use Facebook or YouTube, it’s all very friendly.
You know exactly where to go and what to click.
But if you’re an advertiser, it’s a different story.
There are a million buttons, tabs, links, menus, toggles and switches.
And if you make a mistake, it can be very expensive.
Or worse, if they don’t like your ad, Facebook / Google can shut down your account.
And there’s no one you can talk to!
Years ago, I tried to run my own ads.
I failed.
And my story became, “I can’t do this.”
So for years, I hired someone to do it for me.
Then my coach told me, “I think you can do it.”
That stuck in my head.
I didn’t pull the trigger immediately.
But it got me thinking.
Long story short, I eventually bought a course that teaches business owners how to run ads.
I studied. I focused. I worked.
And last week, I ran an ad and the internet didn’t explode!
Success!
YOUR STORY
Here are some limiting beliefs I hear from students:
“I’m too old.”
“I don’t have time.”
“I’m not good with languages.”
“I have a bad memory.”
Is it possible…
Could it be…
That your belief about English, like my belief about ads, is just a story you tell yourself?
Maybe… it’s not true?
You forgot one excuse. Maybe it’s not an excuse, it’s a lack of motivation.
Hmm, except that group doesn’t usually seek my help. Probably because they’re not motivated!
