This Is How The Police Found Me

Can you explain how the police found me?

“The wallet has an AirTag inside,” explained the officer.

He opened up the wallet and pulled out a small, flat electronic device.

“Here it is,” he said.

Don’t know what an AirTag is?

Don’t worry, I didn’t either.

An AirTag is a new technology that allows someone to use their phone to track whatever they put the AirTag in.

The phone tracks the AirTag.

It led the police straight to me.

In the old days, you wrote your name and number inside your wallet.

Inside my wallet it says, “If found, please call ____.”

Now they track you with their phone and call the police.

All that effort and not even a “thank you.”

I miss the old days.
