Prague, Czech Republic.
Winter, 2005.
I was a new teacher.
My employer, James Cook Languages, told me where to go and what to teach.
For example, Go to CSOB Bank on Tuesday at 8 a.m., teach Business File: Intermediate, chapter five.
Sometimes, the teacher manager would tell you a client was not happy with their teacher and you would be the new teacher.
Other times, the teacher manager would tell you the client was not happy with you, and now your Tuesday mornings would be free.
It was a revolving door.
The clients were never satisfied.
Their progress was sloooooow.
Why?
Because their horse was dead!
Who gets fast results from reading a text book for 60 minutes a week?
No one!
So how did they solve this problem?
They got a new dead horse!
Pls can you stop sending me the promo of yrs? Thank you so much. Paola
I can if you click on “unsubscribe.”
It was very interesting to tell this story, Ryan! I think that always will be people who prefer to get a new “dead horse” in any situation, as well as people who appreciate powerful teaching. I am keen on talented teaching, therefore I like very much the exciting Speed School and its Community.
So true!
I’m exited with your system of doing English!!
Thank you for the opportunity
I understand.the dead horse is a situation when things don’t work and we don’t change them but expect other person to make it: it’s about to asume the changing.
That’s right-a hopeless situation.
I wont to be better in english, but I din t know how?
I m soo bisy, that i can t fint time to improve my english?
But I wont that soo much!!!
