Lunch.
A few hours ago.
Sitting with an international group of English speakers.
“I like it when someone corrects my mistakes.”
“Oh really,” I replied while scratching my chin. “Would you like me to correct your mistakes now?
“Ok.”
Silence.
“How do you feel?” I asked.
“Nervous. Now I don’t want to speak.”
Thank you very much..
Yes, when somebody correct while you speaking.. at first you accept correction, but afher that you ‘re freezing, thinking about mistakes you would’nt do .
Hi, after correctionts I always feels stupid, what I cant remember the simpleat rules. And it did’t help to have nice conversatio at all. Meanwhile I dont feel good also when somebody sirprized, what I dont interesting in some tipics, and ask me again in my native language “Really, you dont like it? And I must feel about it nervous, not “normal”. Thanks good, now I was grow up (only few years ago)) and all comments didnt receive personal. I know, that is normal to make mistakes, normal is have different things that interest you and it have no connection with you person, IQ or language level.
I totally agree with you!
It is better to get the ability to identify and correct yourself the mistakes you have done.
This ability will increase day by day as well as your level of language spoken. It’s not easily, but I think it worth the effort.
That’s hillarious. But that looks really as it is happening. It is like it is, like You just have pictured it, Mr Vig! (I hope, I didn’t make too many mistakes in those three sentences above 😛 ).
Cheers!
Perfect demonstration Ryan. Well done!!! 👍
Thanks!
Thanks a lot
Personally for me, it’s ok because i will remember this correction for a long time.
