Do you know anyone who’s bi-lingual?
That means, he or she speaks two languages.
You probably do.
It’s quite normal in Europe.
But in America…
My Next Adventure
Greetings from snowy and rainy Bulgaria!
Ski season here in the Pirin Mountains is coming to an end.
Yesterday I went skiing and it was snowing at the top.
But at the bottom there were pools of water.
I’m a travelling teacher.
My plan was to take the train to Romania in May.
But my plans, like the direction of the wind, often change.
Where am I off to next?
You’ll see…
The Search For The Keystone Continues
Last week we were talking about the keystone for your English.
It’s not your method.
It’s not time.
It’s not even intelligence.
Could it be belief?
I think one reason why Americans don’t learn a second language is they simply don’t believe it’s possible.
When none of your friends or family members are bi-lingual — very common for Americans born in America — your belief is it’s not possible.
But as Henry Ford said, “Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right.”
Belief is huge.
Is this the keystone of mastering English?
Have we finally found it?
Or is it something else…
To belief is on step to the goal.
Belief is probably a half step before the keystone, or a part of it!
Belief of course, but…before that probably everyone´s personal motivation.
I belive, that is not end of world, when I make mistakes
That’s a good belief!
Desire and belief, both are important.
