I used to never read reviews.
“I don’t care what other people think. I’ll make up my own mind.”
That’s what I used to think.
Then in May, I booked a restaurant for the Vig Village meetup.
It was in a park, on the side of a hill, and had an amazing view of the city.
I spoke to the owner and sent him my deposit to reserve space for 40 people.
Then the problems started.
He changed the menu.
He stopped understanding simple English.
He got angry.
Finally, I had to walk away and cut my losses.
Only then did I think to look at his reviews on Google.
A 3.9!
“This place should be avoided.”
“Don’t go there.”
“Terrible experience.”
Why, oh why, didn’t I read the reviews before?!
Never again.
I’m now an avid review reader.
However…
Did you watch the video I shared yesterday?
There’s a part (13:21) where they show that the restaurant went from a 1.3 rating to a 4.3 rating.
(scratching my head) “How is that possible?”
What do you think?
