I like to exercise.
But not for four hours and surrounded by forty thousand people!
That’s why I don’t run marathons.
I used to run.
I used to like it.
What I liked about it was: you can do it anywhere and anytime for free.
Plus, I only ran for about 20 or 30 minutes; enough to stay fit, feel good and look good.
But a marathon… that’s madness!
However, I think I know why people do it…
MARATHON ENERGY
There’s energy in a group.
Most of my work is writing.
I love it.
But it’s also very solitary.
So I joined a writing group.
Last night I was on a zoom call with my group.
The writers share what they’re working on and get feedback from a coach.
When I join this group, I get energy.
I’m sure it’s the same with the runners.
And I know it’s the same with Vig Village.
A COMMUNITY OF ENGLISH SPEAKERS
A lot of English is solitary (reading, listening…)
And English can sometimes feel like a marathon you’re running alone.
That’s why I created Vig Village.
Imagine…
There’s a place you can visit…
Where you can always find friendly people.
These people always want to talk.
And they want to talk in English.
That’s Vig Village.
Have a look: https://store.mrvig.com/vig-village-10for10
And get some energy for English.
