Studying English grammar rules is just like socialism.
It never works.
And it never dies.
More. More. More.
Students always ask for more grammar lessons and more grammar rules.
Their appetite is insatiable.
Even advanced students who speak amazing English want more, more and more.
It reminds me of a guy I used to know in Prague.
He was single and wanted to have a girlfriend.
His strategy was to learn how to meet women.
He became an expert.
The problem was, he never actually talked to any women.
Every weekend, you could find him in his apartment sitting in front of his computer learning the latest pickup line or seduction hack.
Don’t be like my single friend.
And don’t be like Bernie Sanders.*
