Ouch!
I hope these guys put more work into their food than they do their signs.
Take a look at this advertising disaster:
If you look closely, you should be able to find three mistakes.
Jump over to the blog and tell me your guess.
And tomorrow I’ll tell you what’s wrong and why.
Pizzas & burgers, newly opened?
Pizzeria and burgers. Two mistakes in spelling.
Third one would be mixing different kind of words. Pizzeria is the place, like restaurant, and burgers are meal. Maybe better:
Pizzas & burgers, or Pizzeria & Burgeria,
Can we say Burgeria for burger rastaurant?
In Croatia we can.
Pizzeria, burgers, non stop😊
Pizza and burgers…?
Pizza&burgers,newly opened
Pizzas e burgers.
pizzas and burgers, 15% less for students, newly opened for all day 😀
pizzerie … czech word
sale …. discount / for students/
new open….newly opened
Pizzas and Burgers
15% for Students
pizzas and burgers???
Hi, I’d say pizza & burgers. Can’t find the third mistake.
Pizza & Burgers, New OPENED
Thank you, Mr.Vig!
Hi Ryan,
I see at the moment only two mistakes and I am not looking what have written the other students. The word “Pizzerie” should either be “Pizzeria”, Pizza place or just “Pizzas”. Regarding the other word “Burger’s” there is no apostrophy in Burger which plural form is Burgers. You could use the apostrophy for instance to precice that it is Bob’s Burgershop. Have a nice evening.
Pizzerie -> In English: Pizzeria (It’s a place that serves pizza and burgers too)
Burger’s -> Burgers
I have seen in the windows of the bars: Pizza and Burgers
New open -> Perhaps they are trying to say that the pizzeria is: Now open (nonstop).
New open -> Or maybe they were trying to say: New opening hours…
15% student SALE -> I would say: 15% off for students
15% student SALE / 15% SALE student -> I understand the purpose, but I hope they are not thinking of selling students.
BURGERS not BURGER’s
RECENTLY or NEWLY not NEW
15% discount/off for student, not SALE
pizzeria & burgers is correct. The third mistake is 15% sale instead 15% discount.
Pizzas & burgers
Pizzas & burgers, 15% discount
Pizzas & Burgers, 15% student discount, newly opened!
pizzerie is plural, and it should be singular. Burger’s is wrong. I don’t see the third mistake.
Czech-English? Or localized marketing? In proper English: Students get a 15% discount sale at the newly opened pizzeria and burger’s food point in Prague. Opening hours: 24/7 (on week days and in weekends)
In my opinion, it has to be:
pizza & burgers
15% student’s discount
15 % of discount for students
Pizzas and burgers
Nonstop is wrong. But i don t know why to say.
Pizza and burgers
Pizzerie is in Italian Pizzeria or in English is Pizza, and the correct is Burger. Instead of new open it should be newly opened.
Pizzeria, burgers, new opening
Three Mistakes (Maybe)
Pizzeria instead of Pizzerie
Burgers instead of Burger’s
Students instead of Student (or Each Student)
Sales instead of Sale!!
1. Pizzas and burgers 2. Open! 3. Non stop!
Well, ‘burgers’ . Regarding ‘new open” – I do accept the brevity – the sister of talent ( but the stepmother of the fee).
And instead of ‘discount for students”.. remined me our children’s joke: “What does a cannibal order in a restaurant? – The kids portion”.
However the Prague’s version is better than “Men liquidation” sale)
Pizzas & Burgers, New OPENED
Pizza & Burgers
new opening!
Non stop
Pizza and burgers. Nonstop. Open.
Pizzas&burgers is enough, pizzeria is the place not a meal..
pizzas and burgers
Pizza & Burgers
15% discount for students
Pizza & burger
🤔?
