This is interesting…
Did you know, if you’re in London, and you want to fly to the US, it’s cheaper to fly first to Prague?
A lot cheaper!
That’s why I’m back in London today after spending the weekend here.
Technical Problems
My flight from Prague was delayed by about half an hour.
According to the pilot, the heater in the lavatory broke.
Why do they need a heater in the lavatory in the summer?
Because, when the plane gets a few miles up, they empty the toilets, and because it’s freezing at high altitudes they don’t want it all coming out frozen and crashing through someone’s roof.
I did not know that.
Did you know that?
It’s been a very educational morning.
But no worries, we took off eventually.
And here in London I’ve got a long layover.
The only way I could miss my connection is if I take too long to write this Vitamin V….
Gotta go!
Cheers,
Mr. Vig
P.S.
“lavatory”
“layover”
“connection”

Of course 👍
İt’s very helpful. Thanks.
Yeh I know, that’s the real life!
I was so surprised to hear about that. I could not believe it, so I had to check if it was true. And it’s not. Airplanes do not and are not allowed to release any waste during flight. They do that after landing.
I found out this:
“Sometimes, due to a technical malfunction, a small leak may occur in the waste system. If liquid waste leaks out and freezes on the aircraft fuselage, it can later break off during descent as blue ice. These events are very rare, unintentional, and usually involve a maintenance issue.”
Maybe it was a Ryan’s joke I didn’t get.
Yes! I do! I want to learn new words! Thank you
