Do you know how to talk to a native speaker…
AND get better at conversation?
It doesn’t happen automatically.
Lots of people talk and talk and talk and never improve.
And it’s not magic.
There is a method.
I was a private teacher for over ten years.
So I know what works and what doesn’t.
And this week, I’m going to share some tips with you.
Let’s go!
TIP ONE – Listen
Did you know good artists are good at looking?
They observe everything: light, shadow, shapes.
And good English speakers are good listeners.
During your next conversation with a native speaker, try this: listen more and talk less.
Hello!nice meet you again!
it’s the same as with my wife: listen moor and talk less, or better nothing… 😉
In general better more listen, even more I’m woman😉🙃
The next one what do you mean ” native speaker”?
It’s a person from my country, with whom you may practise in English, or just simply conversation two persons in native linguage?
Well, my oh my Mr. Vig that seems a lot easier than it actually is but definitely worth the practice! 🤞🤞
I think he refers to a conversation between a non-native English speaker and a native English speaker.
You are really good teacher, seems to me
Thanks!
Hi, it is very good advice ! Iunderstand spoken sentences worse than writen. I think that dont know listen…
Hallo , i’from Italy
In generai I’m bad at listening especialy whith american native speakers.
Not you Mr Vig because you speek slowly. In the real life I do my best but it’s still difficult for me.
Ok, I take this step. I listen.
