Another day, another museum.
This time, it wasn’t so pleasant: it was super boring.
I’m sure you’ve experienced this type of museum; it’s the type that just throws a lot of facts and dates at you.
I’ve said it before: the best way to learn about a new city is to talk a walking tour.
It’s all about incentives.
The walking tour is a private business; they need happy customers.
So they tell interesting stories and keep you entertained while they teach.
The museum, on the other hand, is funded by the government.
If you die of boredom inside their museum, they still go home at five o’clock and get five weeks of vacation.
😅🤣😂
I see . So boring.
I agree on that too. Some people have their jobs but nobody care if you do your best and with enthusiasm . I wondering if it depends on who the boss is . Maybe the boss is pleased enough to be in the top position.
Thank God, more and more museums have interactive explanations. So they aren’t boring not only for adults, but also for children.
😂 😂
🤣🤣🤣❤️
I never heard this word “incentives” but it sound interesting..to me.I looked for it in a dictionary to find out the meaning and saw another very interesting word, ” inception” wich was the title of a fascinating movie.
I found very funny your lasr paragraphe!
Too much from something is boring 🙂
🤣🤣🤣 At least five weeks vacation.
Sometimes you can hear in tour interesting stories but you don’t now is it really true. I read that in Verona balcony which they present were not where were Romeo&Juliet. Also in Genova, the same question about house of Kolombo, which is now the little museum. I like to prepare by myself and read on Internet and go by my fast pace. If something is not interesting I just left that art, picture, museum…The most problem for me is too many people who read, watched and took a pictures so you can’t enjoy anyway.
In Amsterdam I more enjoy in the Rijksmuseum then in the Van Gogh museum…But is is really big and has good cafe… I like to hear english and listen from people in town, museum, restaurant, anywhere. You can always skip some art and then come back.
My recommendation for Wien is the Museum of historical art and the Belvedere castle/museum with many famous artist like Gustav Klimt. There is also flat of Mozzart, near main cathedral in the centre of Wien, but there is too many stories and biography and little bit furniture, arts, instruments and so on… I don’t recomendate it. Usually every museum has headphones.
Salzburg is a town for Mozzart.
Hey, happy Friday and weekend!
It was nice but Why die why 5weeks vocation?
I agree but on the other head i like museums, you are able there to understand much better the poeople of the country you visit.
I remember history’s courses with birthday’s dates queens and kings, born and dead, it was boring.
Now I’m more interesting of history but all the history. So I prefer to visit with a guide who is able to interest me with stories.
Hi Ryan,
I found an Italian government museum nearly empty and not boring at all in Naples this weekend:)
Baci da Napoli
I recommend the archoeologic museum of NAPLES full of what they found in Pompei. And of course I recommend Pompei too. Incredible and gorgeous.
” I’ve said it before: the best way to learn about a new city is to talk a walking tour”.
To talk ?? or to have a walking tour ??
If we talk it means we speak about the tour. Or I can”t right undersood?
To walk in the tour, it means to go and visite the city.
So, how should I interpret the previous sentance??
Thank you for the answer.
Great joke, thank 🙂
Boring museum. There are those too. For example text on whlile wall…🥺😆
