Most tourists in Hong Kong go shopping or eating or clubbing.
But I prefer history.
So today I visited the Hong Kong History Museum.
It was both good and bad.
Senior Google said it was open on Wednesdays.
That was good.
It was a long walk from my hotel.
That was bad.
It was free to enter.
That was good.
The woman at the information desk spoke English.
That was also good.
I asked her where the entrance to the museum was.
She said the museum is closed until next year.
That was bad.
One More Day
Tomorrow is my last day in Hong Kong.
What should I see?
Here’s a short list I found online:
Take a look.
Tell me where you would go.
Then tomorrow I’ll tell you where I went and what happened.
And let’s keep our fingers crossed that it’s open!
It’s the reason that I prefer Europe. In Asia time is different, people sometimes don’t have sense of time. In this was I thought about Claudia sometimes. When .the train will arrive .? We gonna see ..
Very funny 😂😂😂😂😂
Joanna where are you from?
In this way.. It had to be, my typo.. I am from Poland
If I was in Hong Kong I would visit Chi Lin Nunnery or Kowloon Walled City Park. But wherever you go, enjoy! I wish you good luck with visiting the impressive spots!
How about Chi Lin nunnery and Nan Lian gardens?
Oh! You didn’t do the inside museum?
You could’nt visited , inside the museum?
The entrance was open. And there was a small temporary exhibit about the space program. But the main area was closed.
Hi Ryan!
As usual, the first places recommended are the most interesting to visit.
I would be interested to see the two temples: The Wong Tai Sin Temple, for first,, for his traditional Chinese arhitecture, his.specific atmosphere and the five elements in Chinese Fengshui culture about I would be very curious to see them.
Next, I would wanted to visit The Man Mo Temple, wich is part of a complex with three adjacent blocks and that it was declared as a historic building monument in 2010.
I would visit Victoria Peak.
I would go to Victoria Peak, Tian Than Buddha, Kowloon Waled City Park, Wan Chai Blue House and because of free time Murray House!
I would vist Tian Tan Buddha,I think it’s awesome
The colleagues in the course offer you several good places. Maybe they know them. But I think you should also consider the distance from the hotel you are staying at. If you go to nearby sites you can see some on the same day.
I would go to the tempels and the Budha also to the beutiful building… I’d love to be there. Enjoy !!
Happy holidays,❄️ health, 🤍 hope❄️ and many words.🎄 that could build a better world for everyone🎅 💞❄️
I’d like to reach Victoria Peack
walking along its natur trails and enjoying gorgeous views.
Enjoy your time!
I’d go to Victoria Peak because you can climb uphill, I like to challenge myself physically, I don’t know if you’d like that?
Victoria Peak
I would like to see the Tian Tan Buddha.
And… the six best beaches in Hong Kong.
There are many interesting places to visit. If I could, I would visit first Kowloon Walled City Park or Chi Lin Nunnery orTian Tan Buddha
If I were in Hongkong for the last day I would choose the Victoria Peak. I love hiking, to explore new nature and during that, I feel an extraordinary mood. I get visions and best ideas. The nature is the secret….
Hi Ryan !
I would like to be able to visit all 9 hystorical atractions in HK.
Asian culture and history are very interesting.
first, Victoria Peak, to understand the body of city, second Wan Chai Blue House, culture history of the city, after Clock Tower, contemporary culture. in each place I would like to find a little place to have a peace, where my soul tlak with the soul of city. After the other place, architecture, philosophy, religion, places that have a specific identity and where I would like to go when I want to take that culture in that time
You should visit the “Big Budha”. It’s so impresive!
I wold visit Victoria Peak, Man mo Temple
read your little story every day with growing interest. fun and friendly!
It’s true that we learn well without “constraints”. > I had to look that word up there 😉

Good and bad. Open but…
Thanhs Mr VIG!
