In English, we say it’s rude to talk about religion and politics at dinner.
But this isn’t dinner.
And we already started talking about politics yesterday.
And my next poker expression needs another political example.
So here we go!
A Wild Card
In poker, a card is wild if it can be anything… an ace… a king… a jack…
In life, some people are wild cards: they may say anything or do anything.
They’re unpredictable.
Now imagine you’re Putin.
Or Xi from China.
Who would you rather play the poker game of international politics against?
A president who is predictable?
Someone like Biden.
Or a president who’s a wild card?
Someone like ….
Really easy to answer. Predictable 🙂
Subscrible!
Do you really think a president with dementia is predictable?🤣
I guess a wild card needs another wild card for the things to be equally and there is a small number of president who can be a wild card for Mr. Putin; in fact I think it is a single person/ president at the same class…for the game do not be boring!!
If I were Putin, I’ll rather play poker game with Tramp. He seems to be wild card, but not for Putin. They are friends.
If I were XI, I would’t play poker at all.
Sokan vannak, példaul: Jarosław Kaczyński, Robert Fico, Viktor Orban, Marine Le Pen, Kim Dzsongun, vagy … ?
Around the globe we have number of presidents who could get nick name wild card.
Wouldn’t be fun to play with them any game unless we are coming from the same nest.
One well-known president-elected plays like a president who’s a wild card, but isn’t it a fake?… OMG. It was a time when we had compared the international politics with a chess game, but now with a poker game… What a progress for humanity…
Putin? Trump? for example
Someone like Putin. But I would lose the game. Certainly
