There is no success without mastering the basics.
And what is more basic than sleep?
Without good sleep, you don’t learn well, you don’t remember well, you have less motivation and discipline.
And as we get older, deep sleep becomes more of a challenge.
So let’s talk about sleep!

Drinking hot milk before going to sleep.
In generally don’t give advice, but I can tell you that I am the kind of person who respects my sleep hours, meaning from
10:00 PM to 7:30 AM, maybe even 8:15 AM. And on Saturday and Sunday, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
when we are very tired, we have a good sleep.
Sometime I can not sleepin the night. The next day after is horible, I have bradavke and I can nothing to do. The best sleeping for me is to ho Hungary in Ned. I wish you nice dreams Mr Vig.

Some of my sleep tips are : having dinner early ( 7 o’clock ) to have a long late evening to digest properly before going to bed.
: having a 15/20 minutes activity right after the meal, like washing the dishes or have a walk close to the house, play ping-pong ( in summer time ), play pool (in winter time ) for a better digestion.
: then it’s time to relax : watch a movie, go to the English chat, comment Mr. Vig’s Vitamine V, read a book, write something…
: before going to bed I always take 2 pills, one is Omega3+, the other one is to improve sleep quality, it’s a combination of Melatonin, Passionflower, Lemon balm and Eschscholzia, and vitamin B6.
: I usually like to watch historical documentaries to fall asleep. Last night I saw one about Pearl Harbor, very interesting.
So far so good.
It’s interesting for me. I have perifer neuropathy. Go to sleep before ten. I takes my medications. One of it is ometa 3. This second combination is something knew for me.
Mr. Vig my mobil makes mistakes, wen I dont sleep well, I have headache. The best sleeping for me is to go hungry to bed. Sorry for m

I haven’t good sleep because my kids always cray in the night
I usually sleep well. But, sometimes, when I have a hard and nervous day, I watch a movie; a love story or similar easy topic. It’s the best sedative for me.

Il faut respecter les 8 heures de sommeil par nuit. Je me couche tôt à 21h. Dormir avant minuit est très récupérateur.
Alpha and omega for excelent quality of sleep is to sleep at the high quality pillow and matrace. Pillow (for me) is at the absolut top place, second plase is a matrace and third is a duvet. You can sleep on any bed, but without “your” pillow, sleep will never be strong and your body battery will never be on 100%. Me and my family, we use pillow with silicone inside, from one side is cooling feature. During the night, your neck is still in right position. Definitely can recommend, its worth it.
First: earlier go to bed (minimum 7h of sleep). No screens and meel before 2h. Ventilate the bedroom. Quiet and calm. Good book for evening, time for family (-:
I would say sleep, dream and get smart!
My perfect sleeping time starting 9 pm till 4:30 am.
This is a good time for me, I wake up with fully activity body.
Every day I sleep at 10:00 p.m. and I get up at 06:00 a.m.
Always i am try to good sleep. But i didn’t sleep well. Because i get headache of mid night.
I am like wind up toy since I was young, you know? I wake up at the first hour of the day and live my day without stop, so in the late evening or in the night when the load finish I need to sleep in that time and in place where I am, in the floor too. Three, four at last five hour and I am ready to start a new day. It’s in this way since I was very young and I am sure will be in this way until I will be 200 years old. so, mean that I nned to sleep well only a few hour
First of all – good topic, Ryan! My experience shows that if the night`s sleep is peaceful and deep, the more successful the next day will be. Not all days are brothers, but I still try to stick to a solid sleep routine – it works. The times when to go to bed and wake up are everyone´s own choice, it depends…My current recommendation is: enjoy the spring to the fullest, find time to go into the nature ( if possible the forest), you will clear your thoughts, your sleep will be deep and tomorrow everything will be fine and English seems much easier!
P.S. Yesterday I went aganst my routine, watched a pretty harch disaster movie late at night… and the sleep was terrible. It was a punishment for me, I knew what I was risking.
Reading a few pages of a good book. No horror, no crime ;-), but something that can be taken into the sleep.
I go to bed at 11-12 pm, sometimes I wake up up and go to the toilet, I sleep till 6.30 a.m, and at 7.00 begin with work. Whwn I try to read in a bed I soon fall to sleep, so I don’t need a sleeping pill. In a yunger age I can sleep 10 or even 12 hours , but now I couldn’t sleep well and in one piece. Relaxing music could help,

First you should stretch your body or do some mediation to relax after work, drink a cup of herb’s tea, read some book or watch TV and go to sleep before 11 p.m.
In my 55 I do nothing special – doing everything before sleeeptime I want enytime i want, just go to sleep close my eyes and ….

To have a better sleep it’s important to have an active day. I sleep in a dark bedroom without device as phone, tv and computer. I don’t take any pills before to go to bed. Good mattress and pillows and good night.😴
Hi Ryan, you are right. Good sleep is very important ! I usually going to sleep at 11:30pm or 1am. I sleep about 7, 30 hour. I go to bed late, because I have less free time after work and I want to do some hobbies, going to chat rooms, go to walk. I fortunately sleep well, because Im tired already… Before sleep help me lie down on sofa and watch nice calm, historic or documentary movie. I should go early sleep and then early wake up, but Im night owl…
To fall easily asleep, I take a drug with melatonin and some plants as Passiflore. I need a very fresh air, the window is always open , even in Winter ! With a good duvet. But the most efficient is to listen, in the dark, at stories about horribles crimes, with difficult police investigations. I fall often asleep before the end ! Is it not strange ???
