Specifically, I want to know about your speaking.

Now here’s where the answers start to diverge…

I then asked you, “If you want to improve speaking, and if you know you need to speak more, why are you not doing it?”

Some answers:

• no time (19%)
• no speaking partner (27%)
• too shy (21%)
• too lazy (6%)
• not ready (10%)

As you may or may not know, I’ve been a teacher since 2004.

I’ve heard it all.

I’ve been around the block.

And I believe I can knock down just about any objection you give me.

But this comes with a warning:
