Thursday is a big holiday in the US.
It’s a day when you gather with friends and family and have a feast.
Think of Christmas, but without church and presents.
And the best part of this holiday is not the turkey, it’s giving thanks.
When you are thankful (or you can say “grateful”), you see the good things you have in life.
And when you see the good, you’re happy.
It’s impossible to be grateful and sad at the same time.
So why be grateful just one day?
Introducing: Thanksgiving Week
I am thankful I get to visit this wonderful country.
Some things I love about Thailand:
- It’s safe. A friend told me he forgot his phone at a cafe and when he returned a few hours later it was still there!
- The people are friendly, polite, quiet and respectful. In fact, there’s a famous expression to describe the Thais — the Thai smile.
- It’s hot. A friend had a pool party this weekend to celebrate her birthday — and it’s almost December!
Below, write one thing you’re thankful for.
Then see how much better you feel!
