There’s a dark and a troubled side of life
There’s a bright and a sunny side, too
Though we meet with the darkness and strife
The sunny side we also may view.
Keep on the Sunny Side
Lyrics by Ada Blenkhorn
———————-
I’ve had some bad luck in the past year.
I broke my leg.
All my emails were erased.
And most recently, I lost my phone in London.
But every time something bad happens, something good also happens.
After my emails were erased, I started to backup all my accounts, courses, passwords, emails… everything; my online world is now secure.
After I broke my leg, I started to go to the gym: I now have 7kg more muscle.
And after losing my phone…?
The Sunny Side of Life Without A Phone
I don’t know what anyone is doing.
Unless we’re in the same room or on a Zoom call together, I don’t know what anyone is doing.
Are people on vacation at the beach?
Complaining about the world?
Photographing their food?
Probably.
But I don’t know about it.
The result is, I’m in the present.
It’s a nice change.
I can recommend it.
Tomorrow: More Sunny Sides of life without a phone
the present, the past, the future, the time not exist on my mind..& all exits on me
“When the sun goes down in the evenings / let me remember then / there is dawn somewhere”
Beautiful..and very important to remember
Hi Ryan,
a little sad Vitamin, but full of hope. Beautiful lyrics. A lot of sun and you´ll see that everything bad will pass!
Mr Vig, fantastic e-mail. I always say when I go with phone I feel a little like dog on the chain. In some agę phone is not so important.
I usually don’t forget my phone, but age – very often 😀
Maybe you don’t like to have contact with people on phone , maybe generally
Absolutely! The world is beautiful without phone! I like this freedom😍 especially on vacation, I dont like to know anything from my daily routine😀
Ruta, probably you are on vacation now, Yes? And you write here .. on elektronic device, you have contact with people
Yeah, I know…
Life is simple, it’s we who complicate it
The best way to live your life…
Only the lightness can drive out the darkness. There is a Bulgarian proverb: “Every evil for good”
So good recommendation: be in present…
I just love this PHONE SONG.
