This Travel Tip May Not Be For Everyone…

Hello from a new place!

I’m slowly making my way back to Prague.

But before I return for the winter, I wanted to check another country off my list.

A CONTROVERSIAL TRAVEL TIP

Here’s a travel tip you probably haven’t heard before: try off-season travel.

That means you go to a country or city when no one else is going there.

But like with everything in life,  there are advantages and disadvantages.

For example…

It’s been raining since I got here.

Normally, you would think that’s not good, however…

I found a place last-minute right on the beach.

It’s cheap.

The seafood restaurant I had lunch at was empty.

And so is the coffee shop where I’m writing this.

I like all those things.

On the other hand…

I wanted to go snorkeling.

But you have to hire a boat to an island and all the tour companies closed last week.

I wanted to swim in the sea but the sea looks so angry I fear it would be my last swim.

I plan to go on a motorcycle ride tomorrow in the countryside, but if the weather doesn’t improve I think I’ll cancel and sleep in.
