Guess where I’m off to tomorrow?
London!
No, I’m not going there to learn English.
I’m going for a business meeting.
About one hundred business owners from around the world will meet to talk, learn and have fun.
It’s like Vig Village, except I’m a member and not the mayor.
And I’m getting there early to do some sightseeing.
What should I see?
The Tate?
The British Museum?
McDonald’s?
What would you see if you had a free afternoon in London?

It’s what the Vaupes Indians do.
It’s what babies do.
It’s what expert athletes, musicians, writers…
Anyone who is good at a skill practices it every day.
Often, they just practice a little every day.
But they practice every day.
And what about you?
Have you listened to easy and interesting English today?

- My English friend Katy says “swim costume” instead of “bathing suit”
Hi!
See London from one of the city’s most unusual buildings – The Shard!
Very good Ryan, The Extra Strengh Vit V is more interesting and complex, I like it and it sounds perfect. I want to say that despite the majority of opinions I like seaweed and can’t imagine the sea without its.Their scent and colour remind me a mysterious deeply world, plus the word seaweed has an interesting musical sound.I have a free month because the schools were opened, it’s a vacation and teachers don’t teach. Tomorrow I’m off to ride my bike and maybe to buy some nice things to practice my hobby. Bye, for tomorrow….
Hi,
I know London quite well, because I have been leaving there for a year to study at the French Lycée.
I was actually in London two weeks ago, and wandering through St James’s Park and nearby streets, I stumbled upon the statue of General de Gaulle, and that was a very big surprise.
Why don’t you try the London Eye, and go to Kew Gardens, a must see if you are a nature lover…😀
The British Museum definitely!
When I come to the city for the first time, I just walk around, visit different parts of the city, observe the people and get a first impression of the city. Then I ask myself what I would like to visit – museums, galleries, churches, … and then I choose.
Yesterday answer:
Could I use the term deckchair instead of beach chair?
I would say “deck chair” only if I was on a ship.
Thank you, Ryan. 😉
I love you Mr. Vig, I laughed out loud when I read this sentence….No, I am not going there to learn english…
I will go to London in Augst 2025 to be a tourist.. After you see it may be tel us What should I see in London…
What would you see if you had a free afternoon in London?
I’d like to go to the Globe if I have some free time. And of course if there’s a chance to get into the atmosphere of Covent Garden…
If I had a free afternoon in London,I would like to see the British Museum and Buckingam Palace if it’s possible, because I tried right after the pandemic but it wasn’t open for the visits.Yes,there would be a lot to visit in London, but it’s not possible in one day,but in one afternoon.
Hi, instead of “swim costume” i know a “swimwear”.
