Tis the season for Christmas parties.
All around Prague, restaurants are full of people gathering for dinners and events.
Vig Village will do the same, but online, this Saturday.
If you’re a member, I hope you can make it – it’s always a lot of fun.
And this year, we’re doing something new – I’m performing my first piano concert!
As you may know, I just started piano lessons two weeks ago.
The Saturday performance wasn’t my idea; it was by popular demand.
And for some reason, I said “Ok.”
Well, it’s going to be…. interesting.
ENGLISH IDENTITY
On Wednesday, a friend had a Christmas party in his apartment.
At the party, I met a Slovak girl who spoke many languages: Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, etc.
She said when she speaks each language, she’s a different person.
How interesting!
Are you a different person when you speak English?
I want to know!
Let me know your experience.
Have a great weekend.
And I’ll see some of you this Saturday.

I like actually love to speak English and to learn it. But I can only imagine that I am different english person… I always like it, but I have never spoken it fluent. My niece could sang songs on English and write me the text of them when she was in primary school, but not me… And that is a talent, not only love. One person said me before 5 years that I lived in Italy and England in my past lives🙄😉🤔 but I’ll live soon in Russia. It’s a petty.. There is a war and they don’t speak English or have thats good old towns, clothes and food like Italian people… Still they have other monumental buildings and the palaces. And I would like to go in Russia or in similar neighbouring country as a tourist but not to live there… And I was in Italy several times.
I played the piano and I have it but I didn’t play it after I finished my primary music school. That’s a long period… About 35 years…
Have a nice music chat and the piano weekend.
Another, maybe, subject, for your speaking club or village: past life…
Cuando hablo en inglés pienso diferente, pero no me siento otra persona. Sale otra faceta de mi personalidad, solo eso.
Congratulations for your first piano concert.
The Slovak girl opinion is very interesting. I was in England – was like them, but I didn’t speak good English
The Slovak girl is somehow right. Sometimes, when I speak English, I feel more easygoing and relaxed than when I communicate in my language. I more often smile. Although my English is far from being good.
