This has been the season for medical visits.
First, I had a piece of metal removed from my leg.
Then, I had a painful leg massage from the physical therapist.
Then, on Wednesday, I visited another surgeon who removed a cyst from my back.
What’s a cyst?
Well, it’s not a Power Word. You definitely don’t need it for conversation. And you probably don’t even want to see a picture of one.
But don’t worry, mine wasn’t dangerous or painful.
But when they get big, they’re not something you want on your back.
Anyway, the point of my story is this: After the doctor removed the cyst, he told me, “Don’t take a shower until Saturday.”
And that, dear reader, is why I’ve stopped bathing (and stopped socializing).
